The Cumberland House is close to local bakery-cafes, restaurants, and a tavern. Walk to the Park-&-Ride to catch a shuttle bus for skiing on Mt. Bachelor, or meet your tour bus for rafting trips. Down the hill, you'll find McKay Park, a great spot to put in inner tubes and float down the river, or catch an outdoor movie. The Les Schwab Amphitheater is within walking distance for summer concerts. Three blocks away is Century Drive, leading to the stunning Cascade Lakes Scenic Highway and Mt. Bachelor. There is a Ray's grocery store close by that offers just about everything you'll need: traditional groceries, bulk foods, organics, a pharmacy, a liquor store and video rental.
